A Guys' Golf Weekend in Scottsdale, Planned

Three nights is the right length for a Scottsdale golf weekend: two full rounds, one long dinner, one afternoon nobody plans, and a flight home before anyone has to pretend they're still enjoying it.

Friday — land, settle, putt

Land midday, groceries and coffee on the way in, clubs inside, and the afternoon on the putting green and around the pool. Dinner close to the house rather than downtown — Kierland is minutes away and far easier with a group of ten.

Saturday — the round, then the yard

Early tee time from a base minutes from TPC Scottsdale, back by mid-afternoon, then the part a hotel cannot give you: heated pool, spa, pickleball, and the firepit once the sun goes. Our golf guide has the courses with fees and drive times; the dining guide has the table to book for the one proper dinner.

Sunday — second round or a day off it

Either a second round or a split: half the group plays, half takes a spa afternoon or a DJ pool deck. Both are covered in the guides, and both end back at the same house.

  • Four bedrooms, up to 10 guests — no five-room hotel shuffle
  • Chef's kitchen for the 6 a.m. coffee run that never happens
  • Putting green, pickleball court, heated pool and spa, firepit
  • Minutes from TPC Scottsdale
