Before the sitter arrives
- The house is not childproofed for infants. Ask the agency to send a sitter who brings their own gate or plan to keep the pool doors latched and supervised.
- Pool rule we ask every guest to hold: no child on the deck without an adult or the sitter physically outside with them.
- The bunk room is the easiest nap and bedtime setup — quietest room in the house and it blacks out.
- Kitchen is fully equipped, so a sitter can cook rather than order in. Leave what you want them to make.
- Old Town dinner is about twenty minutes each way. Book the sitter for your table time plus ninety minutes.
Before you go
- Do outdoor things before 11 a.m.
- May through September the desert is only pleasant early and after 5 p.m. Every outdoor stop here should be a morning stop.
- Buy timed tickets the night before

- Come home for lunch
